Think this is a new one from Macanudo. Off to a good start!
Trying something new and limited from Camacho. We'll see.
Christmas Eve Cigar Tradition with the Godfather himself. Six years and running!
I don't smoke many Rockys, but this one is starting out pretty nice.
Thoughts after smoking it:Amazing. I've smoked a lot of Camachos but for some reason this one really hit the spot.
Wonderful Friday night with wifey and her cousins.
Thoughts after smoking it:Not bad. Not racing to have another one.
Thoughts after smoking it:Great presentation - the box it comes in moves the cigar up as you open it. Wonderful flavor throughout the smoke. Got quite a bit stronger/spicier after I got halfway through it. Can't wait to have another one.
Perfect way to wind down the week (a little early).
Haven't tried this one yet. Venturing into uncharted waters on this beautiful spring day. Thoughts after smoking it:Didn't knock my socks off, but definitely a decent cigar. Not to strong. Might be a good go-to summer smoke.
Looked through my checkins and saw that I liked this one the last time I tried it. Decided to try another. Off to a really good start. Thoughts after smoking it:Really really good. Even better than the first one I had. Easy to draw and lots of smoke. Even burn all the way through.
Haven't had one of these in a while. Off to a tasty start.
Love a cigar with a story ... Thoughts after smoking it:Reminds me a bit of an Equador. I'd definitely smoke another.
Back to an old fav.
Back for round two. Go Lions! Thoughts after smoking it:Just as good as the first one I had. Turning into one of my new go-to stogies.
6th Annual Xmas Eve Cigar Gathering. Spending the afternoon with friend trading stories over great cigars. Thoughts after smoking it:Didn't get spicy until towards the end but still a really good smoke. Would definitely grab another one.
Fuente is tried-and-true for me. Haven't tried the Magnum yet, but this one is starting off very nicely. Thoughts after smoking it:Definitely having another one of these soon. Great tasty smoke.
Sitting down for a Cigar Places development meeting. Had to go with an old fav. Thoughts after smoking it:Consistently really good. I've been recommending these to friends who don't smoke a lot of cigars, and they've all seemed to like them a lot as well.
A little scared by the name, but feeling gutsy I guess. We'll see how it pans out. Thoughts after smoking it:Not overpowering but a little too bitter for my taste.
Extra Fuerte! Can't go wrong. If it's half as good as the last 1845 I had it's a winner. Thoughts after smoking it:Great cigar. Pretty rich flavors without being too strong.
Inspired by Kevin, per usual. With all of the reviews on here, I had to try it. Beautiful fall Saturday in Michigan sitting outside at Godfather. Thoughts after smoking it:I try not to give too many 5-star ratings, but this one blew me away. Started out bold and just got bolder. A good amount of spice and finished really strong. Looking at it in the humidor I thought it might have been a little small for the occasion (2+ hours), but it ended up being just right.
Back to an old favorite. Enjoying one of the last nice days in Michigan. Glad to be outside with a good stogie.
Haven't had this one yet. Good size. Beautiful wrapper! Thoughts after smoking it:I was going with a 3, and then a little bit of spice surprised me at the end so it ended up being a 4. Wouldn't hesitate to grab another one.
Outside on the Godfather patio with wifey and friends. Perfect Sunday afternoon. Finally getting a chance to try the Flathead. Thoughts after smoking it:Good flavor. Good spice that seemed to develop more during the second half.
Cigar Places Board of Advisors meeting. The site wouldn't be where it is today without the guidance from these guys. Trying out Chapter Two. Thoughts after smoking it:Liked this one better than the Chapter Two. Serious cigar. Not to be attempted on an empty stomach.
Was told that it's not as crazy as the Chapter One. Interested to see how it is. Thoughts after smoking it:Would definitely smoke another.
Nice, mild to medium cigar - tasty daytime smoke!
Great shape to this cigar. Tasting great during the first few puffs. Thoughts after smoking it:Ended up biting off more than I could chew, so to speak. I'd try one again because I like full-bodied cigars, but this one is a monster.
Great cigar
Thoughts after smoking it:Didn't blow my mind, but definitely a good cigar.
Thoughts after smoking it:Never thought I'd say this, but this one was a little big for my taste.
Great looking cigar. Nice size. Should last me through the rest of the Wings Bruins game.
Perfect way to end the week - with a classic/favorite.
Don't smoke a lot of Ashton's but decided to splurge today. Great draw and flavor.
Up here enjoying a Rocky Platinum. Slowly trying to make my way through the CA Top 25 of 2013 list.
The place looks nice but only on the surface. The staff is very condescending and the owner is quite frankly, rude. If you agree with him and everything he says, he is pleasant but as soon as you ask about something that he does't like, he treats you with great disrespect. For example, i asked why he didn't carry Alec Bradley cigars and he went on a rant about how terrible their company was. He then said that I , "clearly know nothing about cigars and told me i needed to buy $200 in cigars that he recommended to understand what a good cigar should taste like". Everyone has their own tastes and preferences and simply because someone enjoys different style cigars, doesn't mean that they know nothing or are inferior to him. I am no expert, but i know what i like, and i know a great variety of cigars because i taste a great variety.
Heading up there in a few hours - hopefully it will cool off enough this evening to enjoy the patio!
Over priced, dried out cigars. Your better off going to churchills for a good cigar and great clientele.
How can you not love a place that serves beers this big?
