A great restaurant in the French Quarter, their elegant side bar allows cigar smoking.

I already reviewed this lounge, but I wanted to record five stars.

The full name of this cigar bar is "Arnaud's French 75", and it is attached to Arnaud's main dining room. We went in around 11.30 pm. This is the most high class cigar bar out of seven that I visited in the French Quarter. Service was SUPERB, the décor is OUTSTANDING. Truly a beautiful, comfortable, friendly, elegant cigar bar/lounge. Best part is you can have a five star dinner in the main dining room and then walk down the hall into the cigar bar. They have a small cigar selection on sale, but you can bring in your own. Bar staff is top class. Great French music from the 40s. Only drawback is that the drinks are pricey, but that's what keeps this a high class joint in a town that is full of low-life bars. Most people were well dressed, but I did see one guy in a t-shirt (dude, you could at least wear a polo shirt!). Great place for an elegant date. Last call is around one a.m. If you had to go to just ONE cigar bar in the French Quarter, this is it -- but don't whine about the prices. If you want cheap surroundings, guys with ball-caps, and flat screens, go somewhere else. This place is for true connoisseurs of cigars, cocktails, and a club-like atmosphere.
