Traveling to Las Vegas, I of course went to to try to find a spot for a cigar and a cocktail. This spot had received some decent reviews on Yelp, so I decided to stop in. It is located at the Monte Carlo Hotel/Casino, so you go the hotel, self park/valet, and walk through to the other side of the Casino to get to Andre's. Andre's is a restaurant downstairs, so you go up the stairs to the Cigar Lounge. On the plus side, the spot is beautiful: there's a gas fireplace that is running, flat screen tv that has the volume off (if there is a game on), dark-wood paneled decor. They have an extensive selection of adult beverages and their food is outstanding. There are some significant disadvantages. The cigar selection is very limited and extraordinarily expensive (for example, they wanted over $30 for a Gurkha Ghost when that retails for around $10 or $11). The place is small - I was lucky that I went early and was the only one there. As soon as a few more couples showed up it seemed crowded. The seating is really uncomfortable - I had to switch where I was sitting because my back was killing me from the bench and chair seating. The service was also horrible. When I first went in, I ordered a glass of single malt to have with my cigar, which was vastly overpriced. Only after I had consumed it did I see that they were having a single malt "tasting" which they do every Wednesday night. I learned this because someone else who came in knew about it. It wasn't even mentioned to me when I came in. I had to ask for a menu, I had to ask for water, after I ate I asked for a dessert menu and never got one. So, all in all, a place with a ton of potential.

small and sort of chic, the cirgar selection is inconsistent so plan on bringing your own smokes
