There are always "clearance" sales on beers in the main aisle on the way to the bakery. Use your smartphone to find beeradvocate reviews to determine if you should buy more then one six pack :)

Check for sales in the meat and cheese areas. Stock up and freeze it. I once snagged a four pound bag of blue cheese crumbles for $4.
