Chillaxin on a Sunday!
This is a serious smoke
Enjoying a great Saturday with friends
Haven't had one of these in a while. Off to a tasty start.
I seem to have accumulated a fair number of these in the old humidor. My technique for cutting this beefy box press, is to use a punch and make a cloverleaf pattern with three holes. Beats smashing it into a straight cutter. Thoughts after smoking it:Very unusual for this stick - developed a tunnel at about the half way mark. Took some work to keep it going the rest of the way.
Moar smoke! Thoughts after smoking it:If you're not generally a CAO smoker, the Flathead is worth the try. Always good construction. Full body. Decent flavor.
It's beer-thirty somewhere, right? Thoughts after smoking it:Tried the "cloverleaf" cut that Matthew suggested for this stick. Worked great. Smokes slower, cooler. Not as much smoke, but more flavor from smoking cool.
Always feel like I should be working on my car when I smoke these. Alas, I know next to nothing about cars. Does programming on a MacBook Pro count? Thoughts after smoking it:Not a flavor winner for me. Good smoke though, with good construction and plentiful smoke. One of the few CAO's I like.
Ready to wind down after a long day at work Thoughts after smoking it:Great flavor - perfect for a nice relaxing smoke.
Working at my "other office" for the afternoon. Big, bold, Flathead to keep me company.
Outside on the Godfather patio with wifey and friends. Perfect Sunday afternoon. Finally getting a chance to try the Flathead. Thoughts after smoking it:Good flavor. Good spice that seemed to develop more during the second half.
Really enjoyed this smoke at Chapel Cigars. Lots of billowy smoke from a well rolled box press Flathead. Great flavours of cocoa and nutmeg, with a rich body and smooth finish. Definitely a new favourite!
